Responsibilities
- Operate reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment safely to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse
- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping
- Conduct stock picking and inventory replenishment tasks with precision to ensure order accuracy
- Assist in shipping & receiving activities, verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation
- Perform quality control checks during picking and packing to maintain high standards of order accuracy
- Handle materials with care during handling, stocking, and packaging to prevent damage or errors
- Support warehouse supervisor in maintaining organized storage areas and adhering to safety protocols
Experience
- Prior experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, or pallet jacks in a warehouse setting
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanner technology for order picking and inventory control
- Hands-on experience with shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment, and warehouse distribution processes
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and basic maintenance tasks is a plus
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards, quality control practices, and heavy lifting techniques
- Previous roles involving picking & packing, stocking, or load & unload activities are highly desirable
- Warehouse supervisor experience or familiarity with warehouse management systems enhances your candidacy
