Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and maintain data entry.
- Coordinate and maintain data entry of physical inventories.
- Responsible for daily inventories; coordinating purchase orders; communicating with vendors; reconciling any product delivery issues; coordinating vendors & facilitating reconciliation of A/P & pricing issues.
- Coordinate with storeroom personnel regarding invoices and deliveries.
- Know and follow all safety requirements; strives to maintain a safe work environment.
- Participates in continuous improvement efforts.
- Assist Purchasing Manager with bi-weekly inventory.
- Ensure pack sizes and costs in Eatec and Sage are correct.
- Update Bid Files as needed.
- Inputting orders and inventories into Eatec and Sage.
- Assist with sending emails, copying, scanning, faxing and other clerical duties as assigned by manager.
Job Qualifications:
- 1 - 2 years of Purchasing, Storeroom and or Foodservice-Clerical experience or majoring in related field.
- Must have valid Driver’s License.
- Basic proficient in computer skills essential.
- Good co-worker relations and communication skills a plus.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. is necessary.
- Ability to work in temperature extremes ranging from –10 degrees to 80 degrees (proper thermal protection to be provided) is necessary.
- Potential need to be available for work nights & weekends
