Job Title: CAD Designer I
We are seeking a CAD Designer to join my clients established engineering team, working on the design and development of heavy-duty industrial pumps used across global mining and industrial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Build and revise 3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings in collaboration with design engineers
- Ensure designs are accurate, complete, and ready for production, vendors, and customers
- Work within a CAD team to troubleshoot design challenges and support continuous improvement
- Maintain CAD standards and utilise PLM and revision control systems as part of daily workflow
What they're looking for:
- Solid experience with at least one 3D CAD platform (SolidWorks, NX, Creo, Inventor or AutoCAD)
- Comfortable working with both 3D assemblies and 2D manufacturing drawings
- Associate's degree in CAD or Engineering Technology
- Familiarity with core engineering concepts such as FEA, GD&T, and design for manufacturability
