Florida A&M University Student Health Services is pleased to announce the acceptance of qualified applications for the Associate Director of Student Affairs vacancy.
Responsibilities
Responsible for directing nursing services and clinical operations of SHS in conjunction with clinic physicians/medical director. Areas of supervision include clinical services, employee/occupational health services, quality improvement and infection control; Implement and evaualte clinical protocols, standards of care, policies and practice; Ensure that clinic is open 24 hours/week; and, May serve in the absenceof the SHS Director.
Participate in activities to maintain regulatory complliance, licensure and accreditation; Attend meeting and conduct programs, presentations in the Drector's absence or at the request of the Director. Participate/Chair professional and administrative committees; Interface with local medical community, providers, facilities, health department, and professional organizations. Facilitate and participate in professional development activities; Participate in health center strategic, long - and short-range planning; preparation of required reporting for the clinic; oversee inventories for medical equipment/supplies and pharmaceuticals; and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in appropriate area of specialization and six years of related experience; or master's degree in appropriate area of specialization and four years of related experience. Certain positions within this classification may require additional certifications as outlined in the position description.

Must possess an active ARNP or physician assistant license in accordance with Chapter 458, Florida Statutes

Pay Plan
This is an Administrative and Professional (A&P) position.

Schedule
Working hours daily from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm - a total of 40 hours per week
Hours may vary due to demand for services and special programming. This position is considered essential. Essential personnel may be assigned to work at any time the University suspends normal operations. During a suspension of normal operations, essential personnel provide services that relate directly to the health, safety and welfare of the University.
