Responsibilities
- Assist students in navigating and utilizing Edgenuity and other educational software effectively.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students requiring additional assistance in their coursework.
- Monitor student progress and engagement in the computer lab, ensuring that all students are actively participating in their learning.
- Collaborate with teachers to identify students' learning needs and develop appropriate intervention strategies.
- Maintain a positive, organized, and safe learning environment in the computer lab.
- Prepare instructional materials and resources for use in the computer lab.
- Facilitate small group instruction and tutoring sessions as needed.
- Assist in the collection and analysis of student data to inform instructional practices.
- Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and administrative staff regarding student progress and needs.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge related to academic intervention and technology in education.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising teacher or administration.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Experience working with students in an educational setting, particularly in a technology-based environment.
- Familiarity with educational software, specifically Edgenuity or similar programs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
