Warehouse Associate
New Orleans, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in shipping, receiving, and order picking. This role is critical in ensuring that incoming and outgoing shipments are handled accurately, efficiently, and safely.
Essential Duties:
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment according to customer requirements
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments and stock items appropriately
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup (loading, wrapping, labeling, etc.)
- Maintain organized and clean work areas in accordance with safety standards
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (if certified)
- Keep accurate records of inventory and report discrepancies to the supervisor
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Requirements/Skills:
- 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment
- Experience in shipping, receiving, and order picking required
- Basic computer and scanning system skills a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Forklift certification a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods
- Regular exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels
Education:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
