What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cable Puller position at Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS)?
(Lafayette, LA): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Cable Puller for a 2-week commercial construction project.
Essential Duties:
• Pull and route electrical cables through conduit, cable trays, and other designated pathways.
• Assist electricians and other construction personnel with cable installation.
• Feed, organize, secure, and label cables according to project requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all job-site safety procedures and instructions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements/Skills:
• Previous experience with cable pulling or commercial construction preferred.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a construction crew.
• Ability to follow directions and safely use basic hand tools.
• Must be dependable and able to complete the full 2-week project.
• OSHA or other construction safety training is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment as required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in various positions for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a commercial construction environment.
• Ability to safely perform repetitive cable-pulling activities.
