What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oily Residue Process Operator position at Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS)?
Port Arthur, TX: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking an Oily Residuals Process Operator.
Essential Duties:
• Manage the treatment, separation, and disposal of oily waste, sludge, and water
• Monitor and operate separation equipment to ensure efficient processing
• Adjust system parameters to maintain optimal performance and safety
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations
• Safely handle and manage hazardous materials in accordance with company standards
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors in an industrial setting
• Maintain accurate operational and maintenance records
Requirements/Skills:
• Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card required
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, including hair follicle testing administered through DISA
• Must be approved to work at client facilities
• Maintenance background preferred
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and environmental compliance
• Ability to work in an outdoor industrial environment
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on an 8-days-on, 4-days-off rotating schedule
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry materials as required by job duties
• Must be able to safely work around hazardous materials and industrial equipment
