CNC Machinist

(Kenner, LA): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up and operate precision machining equipment to produce high-quality components in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties:
• Set up and operate CNC machines including lathes and mills to produce parts to specification
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
• Monitor machining processes and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and keep work area clean and organized
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements

Requirements/Skills:
• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Familiarity with CNC programming and G-code is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Knowledge of machining tools, equipment, and procedures
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and machinery
