What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sheet Metal Worker position at Fleet Readiness Center Southwest?
- You will perform a variety of metal repair, fabrication, plan, layout and structural disassembly/assembly of aircraft and aircraft components.
- You will disassemble, repair, assemble, modify, measure, and/or check, as required, to process aircraft, aircraft engine structures, components, assembles, and/or sub-assemblies.
- You will analyze and troubleshoot aircraft metal structures and components to determine repair or replacement needs.
- You will work from drawings, manuals, technical directives, instructions and at times, under the guidance of a higher-graded mechanic.
- You will perform specialized work in aircraft systems that require advanced sheet metal skills, including hole-quality, cold working, and layout and design.
Salary : $28 - $42
