Job Summary:
The Store Manager drives the retail store business and customer experience to achieve established goals through hands-on leadership and contributions. As a Flame & Flora brand ambassador, the Store Manager plans and directs the daily operations and develops strategies to elevate the team and retail experience, achieve all store goals, and drive profitability. This role will ensure the execution of company policies, procedures, and retail initiatives while remaining highly focused on nurturing talent and building capabilities within the team. The Store Manager is committed to maintaining a high standard, ensuring customer brand loyalty, and achieving financial and operational success.
This position will work closely with the assistant manager, Budtender and Security Manager.
Primary Job Duties:
- Responsible for all store activity including personnel, operations, visual merchandising, sales, KPIs, and the customer experience
- Hire, Train and Coach/Mentor the team
- Train team on meeting KPI targets
- Ensure a profitable store by working within the parameters of established store budgets & goals
- Create a fun, challenging and rewarding work environment
- Maintain a team of industry-passionate and customer service-focused employees
- Create an environment where team members are routinely recognized for hard work and achievement
- Spearhead team incentive program
- Create succession strategies to drive team and leadership development
- Adhere to company standard operating procedures
- Proactively recommend new and improved processes for all operating procedures
- Adhere to, enforce all city, and state and tribal regulations and company policies and procedures; educate the team and ensure compliance
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in Cannabis in Minnesota
- College degree preferred but not required.
- 2-4 years related experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a retail Store Manager with proven success
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and time manage.
- Must be able to adapt to a changing work environment.
- Experience working in fast-paced work environment and able to adapt to demands of competing work priorities.
- Proven leadership and people management experience.
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in POS software.
- Cannabis experience a plus but not required.
- Entry-level knowledge of cannabis related vocabulary and products preferred but not required.
