Position: Personal Banker Manager
Five Points is seeking an experienced Personal Banker Manager for the Grand Island Broadwell location.
Job Description:
Manage all personal banking functions as well as personal banker staff schedules, time off, and performance. Maintain and administer all IRA and HSA accounts. Train and coach personal banking staff on new policies, customer service expectations and all personal banker duties.
Essential Functions:
- Provide technical and compliance support to all employees in the areas of Personal Banking; IRA’s HSA’s and CIP compliance issues
- Train all new employees in the department. As well as continually training of all department staff.
- Manage all department staff
- Complete annual evaluations on all department staff.
- Maintain and administer IRA and HSA accounts
- Open new accounts for customers
- Provide assistance to customers in regard to their banking needs
- Perform maintenance on CD, IRA, HSA accounts and review daily, weekly and monthly exception reports
- Create monthly reports for the board of directors
- Maintain department operating procedures
- Consult with the IT department on software used to open accounts
- Assist the marketing department with brochures and product designs and promotions
- Back up with the renting, accessing and closing of safe deposit boxes
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Knowledge & Experience:
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Minimum of 5 years of banking experience required with knowledge of IRA’s, HSA’s and CIP requirements
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Effective communication skills
Education/Training:
- High School Diploma (GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) required
- College level courses and/or degree preferred

Work Environment:
Work environment is generally indoors, but may require travel to other facilities, events and functions outside the normal office environment.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Status/Standard Schedule:
Salary position. Schedule is usually 40 hours/week Monday through Friday and any additional hours needed for department needs.
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
