Hiring for a Staff Accountant to join a growing team with a large professional services organization in the Philadelphia, PA area. This role is a hybrid opportunity and is an excellent fit for someone with 1-2 years of accounting experience and non-profit industry background.
This is a hybrid opportunity - 2-3 days onsite.
Responsibilities
- Prepare bank deposits
- Assist with reconciliations and journal entries
- Assist with grant accounting functions
- Enter and code invoices into the system
- Research accounting discrepancies
- Assist with AP, AR and payroll functions, as needed
- Prepare for year-end audit
- Prepare Excel reports for management
Skills
- 1-2 years of general ledger accounting
- Non-profit industry experience a plus
- Bachelors' Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
- Advanced Excel - vlookups and pivot tables are a plus
- Accuracy and attention to detail
