We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Senior Financial Analyst – Costing & Inventory to join a growing team. This role is critical to supporting global standard costing processes, inventory valuation, and profitability analysis across the organization.
As a key member of the finance team, you will partner cross-functionally to analyze cost drivers, improve transparency into product costing, and enhance financial decision-making. What You’ll Do
Standard Costing & Analysis
- Maintain and set up new part costs within ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Support and execute the annual standard cost roll
- Analyze material, labor, and overhead cost changes and communicate key drivers
- Partner with the business on cost modeling and product cost comparisons
- Contribute to initiatives supporting in-house manufacturing costing structures
Cost Accounting & Inventory Management
- Analyze variances to standard cost, supporting FIFO and capitalized variance processes
- Prepare and reconcile excess & obsolete (E&O) inventory reserves
- Review end-of-life inventory and other critical reserve balances
Controls & Compliance
- Support SOX compliance and audit requests related to inventory and costing
Business Partnership & Insights
- Model inventory and cost impacts for budgeting and forecasting
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance
- 3 years of experience in cost accounting or financial analysis within manufacturing
- Strong understanding of GAAP, standard costing, and inventory accounting
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical mindset
Salary : $100,000 - $125,000
