We are seeking an IT Support Specialist for a 100% onsite contract opportunity supporting a leading healthcare organization in the Philadelphia area. This role requires travel between multiple local sites, so candidates must have reliable transportation and be comfortable supporting offsite locations.
The IS Support Analyst will provide hands-on Level 1/Level 2 desktop support for PCs, printers, end-user devices, applications, and peripheral equipment in a fast-paced hospital environment. Responsibilities include hardware deployments, printer support, troubleshooting technical issues, imaging and deployment of devices, ticket management, customer support, and escalation of complex issues when needed.
Qualified candidates should have:
- 3–5 years of desktop support, deployment, or IT support experience
- Experience deploying PCs, printers, and other IT equipment
- Strong printer troubleshooting/support experience
- Previous hospital or healthcare IT experience preferred
- Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of Windows environments, TCP/IP, hardware/software support, and imaging/deployment processes
- Ability to work independently and across multiple locations
Requirements:
- A Certification required
- Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel locally between sites
- High School Diploma required; additional technical education preferred
Preferred certifications include MCP, MCSA, CCNA, ITIL, or related technical certifications. Military background, prior pediatric healthcare experience, or team-oriented backgrounds such as organized sports are considered a plus.
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
