This individual will be responsible for translating business priorities into long-term technology strategies, developing investment business cases, evaluating solutions, and preparing initiatives for successful implementation.

- Evaluate and challenge proposed technology initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, business value, and long-term investment priorities.
- Develop comprehensive business cases outlining expected benefits, implementation costs, ongoing expenses, financial impact, and return on investment (ROI).
- Lead functional technology evaluations and vendor selection processes, collaborating with Procurement on requests for proposals (RFPs), contracts, statements of work (SOWs), and licensing agreements.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Business Analysis, IT Delivery, Finance, and business stakeholders to establish project scope, resource requirements, budgets, and high-level implementation timelines.
- Prepare executive-level investment proposals, presentations, and funding recommendations to secure leadership sponsorship and organizational resources.
- Manage technology investment portfolios, including strategic roadmaps, project budgets, investment priorities, and ongoing business reviews.
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment between business leadership, technology teams, and external vendors to support informed decision-making.
- Support organizational change planning, stakeholder communication, and the successful transition of approved initiatives into project delivery.
- Finalize business scope and vendor contracting for an upcoming initiative targeted to begin in January 2027.
- Develop a multiyear Marketing and Sales technology roadmap and establish business cases for future technology investments.
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in IT, technology strategy, business engagement, or related technology leadership roles.
- Proven experience in IT business relationship management, strategic technology planning, or business-facing IT leadership.
- Strong background in marketing technology (MarTech), including experience with platforms such as Digital Asset Management (DAM), Product Information Management (PIM), Content Management Systems (CMS), or Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
- Demonstrated ability to guide technology initiatives from initial business concept through requirements definition, solution evaluation, business case development, investment approval, and preparation for implementation.
- Experience developing multiyear technology roadmaps, managing technology investment portfolios, and aligning IT strategies with business objectives.
- Strong financial and business acumen, including experience developing ROI analyses, cost-benefit assessments, business cases, and technology investment recommendations.
- Experience leading vendor evaluations, solution selection, RFP processes, contract negotiations, and technology procurement activities.
- Proven ability to establish relationships with senior executives, influence strategic decisions, and constructively challenge business assumptions.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT Architecture, Business Analysis, Finance, Procurement, and Delivery, within a matrixed organization.
- Excellent communication, executive presentation, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
