Infrastructure Project Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee enterprise infrastructure and end-user technology initiatives. This role is responsible for leading projects from planning through implementation while partnering with technical teams, field support personnel, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery with minimal impact to business operations. The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive project manager who is comfortable working in fast-paced enterprise environments and has experience managing multiple infrastructure initiatives simultaneously.
In this role, you will manage project plans, timelines, risks, budgets, resource allocation, and status reporting while coordinating activities across infrastructure, desktop support, networking, and field services teams. You will lead enterprise hardware deployment and device lifecycle initiatives, including laptop and desktop refreshes, endpoint deployments, technology migrations, and related infrastructure projects. Responsibilities also include coordinating deployment schedules, asset tracking, imaging activities, logistics, vendor management, migration efforts, and post-implementation support while ensuring a seamless experience for end users. You will serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, communicating project updates, implementation schedules, maintenance windows, and resolving issues throughout the project lifecycle.
The environment includes a variety of enterprise technology initiatives such as endpoint refresh programs, operating system upgrades, workplace technology deployments, office relocations, Microsoft 365 implementations, network and infrastructure enhancements, identity and access management initiatives, server migrations, and technology modernization efforts.
Qualified candidates will have 5 years of experience managing IT infrastructure or end-user technology projects, with a proven track record leading large-scale hardware deployment or device refresh initiatives. Experience coordinating desktop support teams, field technicians, vendors, and business stakeholders is required, along with a solid understanding of Windows environments, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, endpoint technologies, and networking fundamentals. Strong communication, organization, stakeholder management, and project planning skills are essential, as is experience managing project schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.
