What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chief Operating Officer (Family Office) position at firstPRO, Inc?
I am working with a locally-based wealth & asset management client in Boston seeking a strong, operations focused Chief Operating Officer (COO) to work hand-in-hand with the CFO and Executive Committee.
This person would be accountable for all operational leadership of a family office wealth management firm of $10 billion AUM, including implementing workflow improvements, managing the firm's operational system, developing operational policies, and leading firm-wide projects.
Qualified applicants must hold US Citizen or Green Card status, and be comfortable commuting into the Boston office 2-3x per week.
Applicants must have:
- Locale to the greater Boston area
- 15 years of experience within investment/asset management, preferably at a small to mid-sized family office
- Ability to lead RFP's for system implementations / technical savvy
- Strong operational experience within a firm, including workflows, operational systems, policies, and strategy
- Background within and/or knowledge of trust accounting
Compensation is up to $500K all-in (Base salary bonuses)
