Job Summary
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to handle day-to-day accounting tasks and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, accuracy, and ensure financial data is up to date and aligned with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks
- Record daily bookkeeping entries and maintain the chart of accounts
- Process accounts payable — enter vendor bills and issue payments
- Manage accounts receivable — create invoices and record customer payments
- Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Post journal entries and assist with month-end closing
- Process payroll for domestic and international employees, including benefit plan administration; prepare and submit payroll data to a third-party processor
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and maintain supporting documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Proficient in QuickBooks, ADP, and Microsoft Excel
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP standards, accrual accounting, and financial management principles.
- Demonstrated ability to perform account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, journal entries, and bookkeeping accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments and mentoring team members.
Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
