Customer Quality Engineer
Responsible for ensuring the quality of products and services delivered to customers through the management of customer requirements, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement customer quality plans, control procedures, and quality agreements
- Host customer audits and manage customer-specific PPAPs, APQP, and final inspection requirements
- Lead issue resolution, customer corrective actions (8D), and internal performance improvement
- Analyze customer quality data, identify trends, and drive cost of poor quality (COPQ) reduction opportunities
- Collaborate with Sales and internal teams on customer satisfaction and product development
- Prepare clear presentations and reports for management and customer reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 5 years of experience in Customer Quality, preferably in Aerospace, Defense, or Automotive
- Strong knowledge of AS9100, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA, and 8D
- Green Belt certified (Black Belt preferred); Customer Auditor/Hosting experience a plus
- Advanced MS Excel and Office skills
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, project management, and interpersonal skills
ITAR Requirement: Must be a U.S. person (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Asylee, or Refugee).
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
