Customer Quality Engineer

Position: Customer Quality Engineer

Location: Conyers GA 30013

Duration: 6 months contract with possible extension

• Looking for an Customer Quality Engineer for the division who will assist with investigating and resolving customer complaints.
• This role will assist in receiving customer feedback and collaborating with other teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, etc) to investigate, understand, and rapidly assist with resolving the issues.
• This role investigates issues by reviewing production records, conducting data analysis, and preparing summaries to present to other team members.

What you'll be responsible for in this role:

• Assist in data collection, analysis, and preparation of materials for Quality Review Board
• In collaboration with Service teams, collect and analyze data for customer complaints/issues and warranty
• Understand customer symptoms and develop problem statements using structured problem-solving techniques
• Obtain failed components and conduct failure analysis to understand Root Cause of Symptom
• Assist in reviewing engineering drawings, production records, warranty data, and preparing summaries to develop problem statements and define root causes of failures
• Prepare data analysis of field issues using dashboards and researching field information

What are the basic qualifications for this role?

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• Problem-solving and analytic capability/detail-oriented person
• 1-3 years of experience in engineering in a manufacturing organization

To be a great fit for the role:

• Experience in Commercial or Industrial refrigeration
• Ability to assess product performance, develop root cause analysis, and initial problem solving of customer reported issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for dealing with all levels of staff, customers, suppliers and operations
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment with a desire to contribute
• Analytical and conceptual thinking skills
