Administrative Assistant / Accounts Payable

First United Bank is accepting applications for a Full Time Administrative Assistant / Accounts Payable specialist in our Lubbock Banking Center.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
 

• Process Accounts Payable
• Perform administrative duties for Management
• Reconcile general ledger accounts
• Create various daily and/or monthly reports
• Order supplies
• Post general ledger entries provided by Accounting staff
• Provide backup to Accounting staff
• Answering phones and greeting visitors
• Participate in job specific training, various bank training programs, and complies with BSA, AML and all bank policies and procedures as required
• Any other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent is required
• Accounts Payable experience is preferred
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
• Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality is required
• Strong written and oral communication skills are necessary
• Ability to learn new things quickly and adapt to change
• Enthusiastic team player, highly motivated, and a self-starter
• Organized and able to efficiently handle multiple tasks
• Computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft programs
