❤️ MAKE A DIFFERENCE EVERY DAY:
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Provide physical therapy treatment under the direction of an evaluating physical therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans
- Help children improve strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and functional abilities
- Assist children in developing skills that promote independence
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Provide caregiver education and support
- Collaborate with therapists, caregivers, and other members of the multidisciplinary team
- Assist with treatment planning and reevaluations as directed by the evaluating therapist
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate of Applied Science Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting
- Current Florida PTA License
- Level II fingerprinting/background clearance
- Valid Driver’s License
- Professional Liability Insurance
- Pediatric experience preferred
- TheraSuit training preferred
- Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) training preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to assist patients with functional activities and therapeutic exercises
- A genuine passion for helping children reach their goals
