RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Conduct physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide skilled physical therapy services to children with a variety of diagnoses and developmental needs
- Help children improve strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and functional abilities
- Monitor, document, and evaluate patient progress
- Provide caregiver education and homeprogram recommendations
- Collaborate with caregivers and other members of the multidisciplinary team
- Provide appropriate feedback, guidance, and supervision to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), as applicable
- Participate in reevaluations and update treatment plans based on patient progress
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Professional Liability Insurance
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Physical therapy evaluation experience preferred
- Supervision experience preferred
- Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) training preferred
- TheraSuit training preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to physically assist patients with functional activities and therapeutic exercises
- A genuine passion for helping children reach their milestones and achieve their goals
