Junior EHS Delivery Consultant / Lead
Location: Ohio
Program: Large-Scale Data Center Construction
- Support site-wide EHS delivery for a fast-paced, large-scale data center construction program.
- Assist with implementation of the site EHS plan, safety procedures, contractor requirements, and applicable OSHA, state, and local regulations.
- Review and help maintain JHAs, JSAs, AHAs, permits, lift plans, emergency-response plans, and pre-task planning documentation.
- Conduct routine field safety walks, work-area inspections, and observations of high-risk activities under senior EHS leadership.
- Monitor compliance for fall protection, PPE, housekeeping, access/egress, temporary power, LOTO, excavation, lifting operations, and mobile-equipment safety.
- Document hazardous conditions, unsafe acts, near misses, and nonconformances; assign and follow up on corrective actions through closure.
- Support subcontractor onboarding, safety orientations, toolbox talks, safety meetings, and verification of required training and certifications.
- Assist with incident and near-miss reporting, evidence gathering, investigation documentation, and corrective-action tracking.
- Maintain EHS inspection records, action logs, training matrices, safety metrics, and recurring-issue trend reports.
- Promote a visible, proactive safety culture through field engagement, positive recognition, and timely communication of safety expectations.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of construction safety, EHS coordination, field supervision, or related experience.
- Exposure to commercial, industrial, mission-critical, utility, telecommunications, or data center construction preferred.
- Working knowledge of OSHA construction requirements, hazard recognition, pre-task planning, and basic incident-reporting practices.
- Experience reviewing or supporting JHA/JSA/AHA documentation preferred.
- OSHA 30, CHST, STSC, or comparable safety credential preferred; willingness to obtain required project certifications.
- Able to work in active construction environments and travel between Ohio project locations, including rural or remote sites, as required.
