AI To-B Channel & Enterprise Expansion Lead (Japan / North America)

Reporting to: Business Unit Head
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly driven business builder to lead the 0-to-1 market expansion of an AI enterprise software solution in overseas markets (Japan or North America).
This role will be responsible for developing enterprise clients, building channel ecosystems, and establishing a scalable local commercial presence from the ground up.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in local B2B (enterprise) sales or channel development in overseas markets
- Strong network with enterprise clients (mid-to-large enterprises) and channel partners (e.g., SIs, resellers)
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to operate independently (a true “hunter” / pioneering mindset)
- Capable of engaging and influencing CXO-level stakeholders in large organizations
Regional Requirements
Japan:
- Native-level Japanese
- Business fluency in English preferred
- Conversational Chinese is a plus
North America:
- Fluent English (professional level)
- Chinese proficiency is a plus
Preferred Background:
- Chinese professionals or candidates deeply familiar with the target regional market
- Age: under 37 (flexible for strong candidates)
- Bachelor’s degree or above preferred
Key Responsibilities
0–1 Market Expansion
- Drive market entry and initial growth in the target region
- Acquire and convert enterprise customers from scratch
Enterprise & Channel Development
- Identify, develop, and close large enterprise (B2B) clients
- Build and manage key channel partnerships (SI, resellers, etc.)
Localized GTM Strategy
- Define and execute localized sales strategies and go-to-market approach
- Provide market feedback to internal teams to support product and solution optimization
Team Building
- Gradually build and scale a local sales and delivery team
- Establish repeatable sales and channel growth models
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in overseas B2B SaaS or enterprise software sales
- Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles and channel partnership models
- Existing network of local enterprise clients and channel partners is highly preferred
- Familiarity with AI, automation, document processing, RPA, or related domains
- Strong execution ability with an entrepreneurial, self-starter mindset
