First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a Data Entry Clerk to join our BankCard Center. The Data Entry Clerk is an entry-level position responsible for entry of debit/credit card applications, and account maintenance of existing accounts. This role is also responsible for ensuring proper documentation and authorization are received.
Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM (Work hours may vary)
Compensation:
The pay range is $16.00 - $19.50/hour; commensurate with experience.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience required.
1 year of experience in a general office environment or the banking industry required.
Card services operational experience preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate effectively with branch personnel and departments through written correspondence, memos and email.
Proficient in the use of a PC with the ability to type 40-50 wpm.
Efficiently manages high-volume workloads during peak promotional periods.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications.
Able to exercise discretion regarding confidential matters.
Able to maintain a high level of accuracy when verifying and entering data, minimizing errors, and ensuring data integrity.
