Job Title: CT Technologist

Reports To: Radiology Director
Position Summary
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional customer service. This role requires the safe administration of ionizing radiation in accordance with ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) and Image Gently/Image Wisely principles for patients across all age groups.
The CT Technologist operates CT imaging equipment, performs quality control procedures, maintains accurate documentation, and adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and organizational standards. Depending on individual certifications and departmental needs, the technologist may also provide support in additional imaging modalities.
Minimum Qualifications & Education:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current Radiologic Technologist License.
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography [R.T. (R)(CT)].
- Bachelor's degree in a related healthcare field preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of one (1) year of clinical CT experience required.
- Two (2) years of experience preferred.
Required Certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
