Overview
We are seeking a junior Litigation Associate with 1–3 years of experience to join our Litigation Practice. This role offers exposure to a broad range of complex matters, including civil litigation, white collar defense, securities matters, and internal investigations.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and assist with pleadings, motions, briefs, and memoranda
- Conduct legal research and factual investigation and analyze complex legal issues
- Draft and respond to discovery requests, including document requests, interrogatories, and subpoenas
- Assist with depositions, hearings, and trial preparation
- Support internal investigations, including document review and witness interviews
- Collaborate closely with partners and senior associates on strategy and case development
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties as appropriate
Skills & Qualifications
- JD from an ABA accredited law school
- 1–3 years of litigation experience at a law firm or through judicial clerkship
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Experience drafting pleadings, discovery materials, and motions
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines
Finn Dixon is based in Stamford, Connecticut and currently maintains a hybrid work environment with candidates generally expected to be in office at least 2 days per week.
