Salary: $70,000–$110,000 annually, based on experience

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee construction projects from initial planning through final completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial or industrial construction, with knowledge of hospitality projects, renovations, and ground-up construction.

This role requires a hands-on professional who can manage project timelines, budgets, subcontractors, and field activities while ensuring quality, safety, and successful project delivery. Experience with Xactimate is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from initial planning through execution, completion, and final handover.
• Oversee hospitality construction projects, renovations, and ground-up construction.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and work plans.
• Coordinate field activities with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Monitor project costs, track expenses, and implement cost-control measures.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders regarding project progress, timelines, budgets, and potential issues.
• Identify project risks, resolve challenges, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on schedule.
• Ensure compliance with construction quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Lead project progress meetings and prepare status reports and project documentation.
• Maintain strong client relationships and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Travel occasionally to project sites or client locations as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Knowledge of hospitality construction, renovations, and ground-up building projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, building materials, and field operations.
• Experience with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and resource management.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and construction project management or scheduling tools.
• Ability to identify project risks and maintain quality and safety standards.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate various stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
• Ability to work on-site in Spartanburg, SC, with occasional travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with hospitality construction and renovation projects.
• Familiarity with Xactimate estimating software is a plus.
• Experience with national or multi-site construction projects.
• Knowledge of construction estimating, insurance restoration, and cost-control processes is beneficial.
