Job Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 – 5 years purchasing experience.
- Knowledge and experience working with computerized purchasing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Essential Duties:
- Purchasing of raw material and maintaining inventory.
- Maintaining inventory and purchase order accuracy.
- Receive material and maintain accurate records.
- Manage relationships of vendors you utilize.
- Responsible for keeping Team informed of material costs, trends, and deliveries.
- Release fabrication work orders to the shop.
- Assist employees with material, parts, and work order questions.
- Issue material from inventory.
- Facilitate weekly production meetings.
- Maintain accurate shipping records for reports.
- Maintain accurate reporting on Departmental Scorecard.
- Assist in shipping duties.
- Develop enthusiasm and respect for the company with careful adherence to its policies and goals
- Assist with planning to reduce costs associated with materials and maintenance items.
- Provide liaison support between Project Managers and Supervisor.
- Perform diversified work assignments as the need arises.
Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
