Position: Associate Attorney – Litigation

Position Summary
Seeking a Litigation Attorney with 2–5 years of litigation experience to handle complex civil and commercial litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have strong courtroom experience, excellent legal research and writing skills, and the ability to manage cases independently while collaborating with senior attorneys. This role offers significant responsibility, direct mentorship, and exposure to sophisticated litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Take and defend depositions of parties and fact witnesses.
• Conduct factual investigations and legal research.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop litigation strategy.
• Draft pleadings, legal memoranda, discovery requests and responses, motions, and briefs.
• Review and analyze business records, transactions, and underlying disputes.
• Evaluate potential legal claims and litigation risks.
• Manage multiple litigation matters while meeting deadlines.
• Work across a variety of litigation matters, including:
o Commercial litigation
o Business disputes
o Employment litigation
o Class actions
o Antitrust matters
o Unfair trade practices
Required Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to the Connecticut Bar (Required).
• 2–5 years of litigation experience.
• Experience practicing in both Connecticut State Courts and Federal Courts.
• Strong courtroom advocacy and deposition experience.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
• Passion for litigation and client advocacy.
Preferred Qualifications
• Commercial litigation experience.
• Federal or state judicial clerkship experience.
• Experience handling complex civil litigation matters.

Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
