We are seeking a Principal Risk Analyst to support the Electric Risk Management (ERM) function. This is a high-impact role focused on risk evaluation, regulatory reporting, and investment planning for critical electric operations and infrastructure.
The ERM team drives a data-driven risk decision framework that supports strategic investments and regulatory proceedings including WMP, RAMP, and GRC filings. This role partners closely with asset strategy, engineering, compliance, wildfire, and regulatory teams to evaluate emerging risks and strengthen key risk indicators (KRIs).

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with asset strategy, engineering, wildfire, regulatory, and compliance teams
- Evaluate existing and emerging electric system risks
- Support horizon scanning and risk identification initiatives
- Facilitate SME discussions to enhance and develop KRIs
- Conduct quantitative risk analysis and support data-driven decision frameworks
- Assist with regulatory data requests (GRC, WMP, RAMP) and executive-level risk presentations
- Support risk reporting for leadership audiences (RCC, SLT Risk Deep Dives, SNO Materials)

Electric Risk Management supports risk oversight across:
- Wildfire (WLDFR)
- Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS)
- Enhanced Powerline Safety Settings (EPSS)
- Distribution & Transmission (Overhead & Underground)
- Substations (Distribution & Transmission)
- Public Contact with Energized Equipment
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)
- 10 years of experience in:
- Risk Management
- Utility Operations
- Electric Asset Management or Related Field
Preferred Qualifications
- 10 years in electric operations, asset strategy, or infrastructure risk
- Strong ability to synthesize complex technical issues into executive-ready insights
- Proven cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience influencing leadership and facilitating decision-making forums
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
