Key Responsibilities
- Perform take-offs, pricing, and bid package preparation.
- Assist with bidder communications and bid-day activities.
- Conduct constructability and spec reviews.
- Prepare and track subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
- Manage RFIs, change documents, and project schedules.
- Oversee closeout activities, including punch lists and submittals.
- Support the Superintendent with scheduling, material orders, and tracking productivity.
- Manage RFIs, punch lists, and addenda updates.
- Assist with project closeout.
- Conduct routine safety audits and jobsite planning.
- Gain insight from safety supervisors and attend OSHA training.
- Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, interpersonal, and nonverbal communication.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a commitment to learning and professional growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Internship, co-op experience, or 2 years of relevant industry experience in project management, field engineering, or estimating.
- Exposure to construction project management, scheduling, cost management, and subcontractor coordination is preferred.
- Familiarity with industry best practices, construction methods, safety regulations, and quality control measures.
