A well known client of ours is seeking a full-time, experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join their Bluffton, SC office. This role supports commercial real estate transactions from start to finish and is ideal for a detail-oriented, service-minded professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.
Responsibilities:
- Review abstracts, titles, and lender loan documents
- Draft and prepare closing documents including deeds, disclosures, affidavits, HUDs, and legal descriptions
- Coordinate commercial real estate closings and manage closing files and binders
- Prorate taxes and assessments; research zoning, tax, and development regulations
- Serve as a liaison between clients, lenders, realtors, title companies, and attorneys
- Track, balance, and disburse closing funds
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience
- 3 years of real estate transaction experience required
- Proficiency in Qualia preferred; strong skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong communication and drafting skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively
