Graduate Recruitment Consultant Opportunity - Finatal
Based out of our NYC office, Finatal are actively hiring for a Consultant to join the Interim CFO and Senior Finance practice.
We're interested in speaking to 2025 & 2026 graduates who are interested in stepping into their first role in executive search.
Location: Midtown Manhattan, NYC (4 days weekly in office)
Position: Consultant
Salary: $65,000 base salary with competitive quarterly commission structure. *** can be flexible on the base depending on candidate experience.
Start Date: ASAP

What does the role involve?
You will be joining the interim practice, engaging with senior candidates, driving your candidate pipeline and understanding the role requirements.
Candidate Management:
- Build and manage a high-caliber network of interim CFO, and senior finance professionals
- Source talent using a mix of platforms – LinkedIn, job boards, our CRM, networking, and direct outreach.
- Conduct initial candidate screening calls, as well as follow up meetings (face to face and virtual) to understand each candidate’s experience.
- Match top candidates with the right opportunities, ensuring both technical fit and cultural alignment.
Client Management:
- Work closely with the Head of Practice to understand the client brief and job requirements.
- Market map clients, gain commercial information and take job briefings.
- Become a trusted advisor, helping clients make informed hiring decisions that support their growth.
What are we looking for in an ideal candidate?
- We are open to candidates with experience in recruitment or out-bound sales and who have experience working with KPIs and targets.
- Experience in sales or client facing roles is desirable.
- Exposure to Private Equity is desirable.
- Ability to think quickly on your feet, strong work ethic and goal-oriented mindset
- Thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Confident communicator who enjoys building relationships
