Finatal is partnering with a PE backed portfolio company to appoint a CFO for a high-growth franchisor. The business is tracking towards a ~3-year exit, underpinned by a clear value creation plan.
This is a hands-on, strategic role - perfectly placed for a proven PE-backed CFO or a high-calibre VP Finance ready to step up.
The opportunity
- ~$130M systemwide sales scaling to $200M
- 65 franchisees / ~200 locations with significant white space for expansion
- Partner directly with a newly appointed CEO to drive growth and prepare for exit
- Own the full finance remit in a lean environment: from accounting fundamentals to forecasting, commercial insight, and board-level decision support
The mandate
- Build and lead a fit-for-purpose finance function
- Drive forward-looking FP&A, cash management, and strategic planning
- Support refinancing, lender relations, and potential M&A
- Act as a true business partner across a multi-site, franchise model
The profile
- Prior PE-backed experience is essential
- Multi-site exposure (franchise, retail, or home services)
- Comfortable operating without a Controller layer - technically strong and hands-on
- Credible with CEOs, investors, and lenders; ideally has seen an exit
