This role will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring compliance with established policies, and contributing to the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced with ERP systems and advanced reporting, particularly in Excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review accounting entries to support daily financial operations
- Deliver timely and accurate financial data to management
- Analyze general ledger accounts and cost centers to ensure proper classification and reporting
- Assist with payment processing by reviewing supporting documentation for disbursements
- Participate in monthly, semi-annual, and annual close and reporting cycles
- Support financial statement preparation and variance analysis
- Contribute to process improvements and documentation of accounting procedures
- Assist with and lead various accounting-related projects
- Strengthen and maintain internal control processes
- Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations
- Handle intercompany accounting and reconciliations
- Support budgeting efforts, including capital expenditures and departmental planning
- Manage expense reporting processes and ensure accurate recording in the general ledger
- Provide backup support across the accounting team as needed
