Fidelity National Title National Commercial Services is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Commercial Title Officer / Commercial Title Assistant to support a high-volume national commercial title unit based in La Jolla, California. Responsibilities
- Support a high-volume National Commercial Services title unit with day-to-day transaction coordination and title production
- Assist Commercial Title Officer with the processing and management of complex commercial title transactions nationwide
- Review title reports, recorded documents, legal descriptions, vesting, and supporting transaction materials
- Order and organize title searches, tax information, surveys, and property-related documentation
- Prepare preliminary title reports, commitments, proformas, endorsements, and related title documents
- Coordinate with escrow officers, lenders, attorneys, brokers, surveyors, and clients throughout the transaction lifecycle
- Assist in identifying title issues, liens, encumbrances, and curative requirements
- Maintain accurate transaction records and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding items
- Deliver exceptional customer service while managing multiple files and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Support post-closing documentation and file management as needed
Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years of experience in title, escrow, or commercial real estate
- Basic understanding of title insurance and commercial real estate transactions is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn title production systems
- Professional demeanor and client-focused mindset
