About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working with financial data in a fast-paced office environment. This role is responsible for preparing and distributing daily revenue and order reports, identifying and researching accounting discrepancies, and collaborating with internal accounting teams to support accurate financial reporting and tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute daily revenue and order count reports.
- Analyze revenue coding and identify errors, discrepancies, or omissions.
- Review open and closed orders daily to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Prepare Excel-based reports, schedules, and ad hoc analyses for management.
- Research and resolve accounting-related issues in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with accounting departments and revenue managers to ensure corrections are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with general office and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of accounting experience preferred, or a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and accounting systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Compensation
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
