About The Role
The IT Systems Support Specialist II plays a vital role in maintaining the technological infrastructure within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This position provides front-line and Tier 2 technical support to ensure the seamless operation of end-user devices, enterprise applications, and production-critical systems. Qualifications
Applicants should possess an associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. A minimum of five years of customer-facing IT support experience is required, with specific experience supporting IT systems within manufacturing or industrial environments. Candidates must be local to Venice, FL, as relocation assistance is not provided. Technical proficiency in Windows operating systems, Microsoft Entra ID, and Office 365 is essential. Experience supporting iOS and Android devices, including familiarity with SOTI MDM, is a plus. A solid understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP is necessary. Knowledge of remote support tools, ticketing systems like ServiceNow, and ITIL incident management practices is highly desirable. Certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, and ITIL Foundation are preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 end-user support via phone, email, and in-person interactions, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and peripherals to support manufacturing operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues impacting end-user productivity and manufacturing systems.
- Support and maintain PCs connected to manufacturing equipment, including backup and disaster recovery procedures to ensure system resilience.
- Manage user accounts and access permissions within Microsoft Entra ID, Office 365, and other enterprise systems, ensuring security compliance.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and support activities accurately within the IT ticketing system for tracking and analysis purposes.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including device setup, access provisioning, and decommissioning.
- Maintain IT asset inventory, manage equipment lifecycle, and oversee procurement and disposal activities.
- Escalate complex issues following ITIL incident management guidelines to ensure prompt resolution.
- Participate in IT projects, system upgrades, and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, data security, and privacy standards to protect company assets and information.
