The Payroll Specialist for Self-Directed Services will facilitate the timely and accurate bi-weekly processing of employee payroll. This role ensures compliance with service codes for approved time and Electronic Visit Verification (EVV). The Payroll Specialist will maintain open communication with team members and stakeholders as it relates to payroll. This position must be very versatile and able to successfully manage multiple demands and processing deadlines.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be professional and responsive in communication, conduct, and interaction with co-workers and stakeholders, and works well as part of a team. They will be able to work independently, determine priorities, and implement necessary actions in order to meet reporting and processing deadlines. This person will possess integrity, accuracy, and the ability to get things done in an efficient, respectful, and competent manner. The ability to work well under pressure in a demanding and ever-changing environment is essential. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and other HR/payroll technology tools is required. Knowledge and experience with Paycom is a plus.
This position requires a High School Diploma or GED, with an AA or BS in finance or related field as a plus. A minimum of 1 year of experience in payroll or payroll-related functions is required.
