Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Edison, NJ, for a Customer Service Specialist. The specialist will handle customer inquiries, provide high-quality support and resolve issues to enhance customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include responding to phone and email inquiries, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring a positive customer experience from start to finish. The role also involves maintaining professional communication and providing excellent service to both new and returning customers. The candidate must have flexible hours to work an 8‑hour shift within the 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM range (Monday to Friday). Some paid overtime may be required.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Support and Customer Service skills
- Proven ability to enhance Customer Satisfaction and Customer Experience
- Excellent Phone Etiquette and interpersonal communication skills
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) tools is a plus
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively
- Associate degree or some advanced education and equivalent experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming requests for sales help and customer service via email and telephone.
- Assist customers with placing orders for merchandise or parts as needed.
- Enter orders into our computer system and follow them through to completion.
- Provide information on our appliances to customers as requested.
- Communicate with customers and dealers to resolve issues related to shipping, delivery, and appliance operation.
- Perform basic internet research to support the sales and service departments.
- Always provide professional and courteous customer service.
