Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Summer Intern role located in Milton, Fl. The intern will assist with various tasks, including program support, community outreach, event planning, data collection, and reporting. Responsibilities will involve supporting food bank operations, helping with community programs, and engaging with stakeholders. The intern will gain hands-on experience in nonprofit operations, project management, and solutions for addressing food insecurity, while contributing to the organization's mission.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, including verbal and written communication
- Proficiency in organization, time management, and multitasking
- Experience with data entry, data analysis, and reporting is beneficial
- Ability to effectively collaborate and engage with team members and community partners
- Interest in nonprofit work and addressing food insecurity
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other digital tools
- Ability to work efficiently in an on-site environment in Theodore, AL
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Public Health, Nonprofit Management, or similar
