Business Process Intern - Summer 2026 (TXWORKS)

Summary:

If you are looking to gain real-world experience in manufacturing, we have an exciting opportunity at Frozen Beverage Dispensers. As a Business Process Intern, you will work closely with our business operations team to identify inefficiencies, assist in the development of streamlined processes, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our overall operational effectiveness. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can apply your analytical skills, collaborate with experienced professionals, and engage in projects that directly impact the productivity and performance of our manufacturing operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prototype a solution for digital work instructions.
• Develop business cases and project proposals.
• Assist in documenting existing business processes and identifying areas for improvement.
• Conduct data analysis to support process improvement initiatives and project management.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather insights and feedback on current processes.
• Participate in team meetings and presentations, providing updates on project status and findings.
• Help develop training materials and resources for staff on new processes and tools implemented.
• Support the manufacturing team in tracking progress and maintaining project documentation.
• Research industry best practices and assist in benchmarking processes against competitors.
• Perform other duties as needed and assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey findings.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn about business processes.
• Basic knowledge of project management principles is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Must be able to pass a background check and a drug test.

Physical Demands:

• Required to stand, walk, balance, have eye/hand/foot coordination, reach, grasp, occasionally sit.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
• This position works in a typical office and manufacturing environment.
• Clarity of vision including the ability to appropriately differentiate colors.
• Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds.

This internship position is part of the  TXWORKS - Student program. Interested applicants will complete the Student Eligibility Form to get started. TXWORKS-eligible students participating in TXWORKS internships earn a minimum of $20 per hour for at least 8 weeks / 96 hours for internship opportunities. TXWORKS student participants submit their letter of eligibility with the record ID and their college transcript (official or unofficial) with their internship application.
