Sanitation Technician

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of windows, floors, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Conduct pressure washing to remove stubborn dirt and grime from exterior surfaces and equipment.
• Handle cleaning supplies and chemicals safely, adhering to all safety protocols and using personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist with janitorial duties such as trash removal, laundry services, and maintaining supply inventories to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain infection control standards by properly sanitizing high-touch surfaces and adhering to sanitation procedures.
• Operate various cleaning machinery including floor buffers, vacuum cleaners, and pressure washers with proper manual handling techniques.
• Support custodial tasks that promote a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial roles, with a strong understanding of sanitation practices.
• Knowledge of window cleaning, floor care, chemical handling, and infection control procedures.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, floor buffers, vacuums, and other janitorial tools.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with staff and visitors when needed.
• Prior experience in laundry services or specialized cleaning tasks is a plus.
• Commitment to following safety protocols including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Pay: $16.50 - $22.00 per hour
