Position Summary
Fashion Nova Logistics is seeking an experienced Safety Manager (SM) to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of safety programs across our eCommerce distribution environment. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe workplace, reducing incidents, ensuring compliance with OSHA/Cal OSHA regulations, and promoting a strong culture of safety.
The Safety Manager partners closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to drive safety performance, support operational goals, and ensure employee well-being remains a top priority.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop, implement, and manage safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a safe working environment
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments; identify hazards and implement corrective actions
- Monitor safety performance metrics, analyze trends, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership
- Lead and deliver safety training programs, including accident prevention and emergency response procedures
- Partner with leadership to align safety initiatives with operational and business objectives
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, Cal OSHA, and all applicable local, state, and federal safety regulations
- Lead incident investigations, determine root causes, and implement preventative measures
- Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related matters, providing guidance and support to employees and leadership
- Promote a culture of safety through employee engagement, communication, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure all safety equipment and resources are available, properly maintained, and compliant with standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field preferred
- 10 years of experience in safety management, preferably within manufacturing, distribution, or eCommerce environments
- Proven track record of implementing and managing safety programs that reduce incidents and improve workplace safety
- Strong knowledge of OSHA/Cal OSHA regulations and industry best practices
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver effective training and clear safety guidance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Experience tracking safety metrics and presenting data-driven recommendations to leadership
- Professional safety certifications (e.g., CSP, CHST) are highly preferred
