About the Role
Fashion Nova Logistics is seeking an Employee Engagement Specialist to drive culture, connection, and employee experience initiatives across a fast-paced warehouse environment supporting approximately 3,000 employees. This role is critical in strengthening retention, boosting morale, and aligning teams within a high-volume operational setting.
The Employee Engagement Specialist partners closely with Operations, Safety, and Leadership teams to ensure engagement initiatives are inclusive, accessible, and impactful for a diverse hourly workforce. This individual will serve as a visible culture ambassador on the warehouse floor, leading programs that enhance the overall employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Support and execute employee engagement strategies across multiple shifts within a large warehouse population
Plan and lead large-scale events, including employee appreciation days, holiday celebrations, town halls, and team-building activities
Manage the Years of Service recognition program, including milestone tracking, awards, and ceremonies
Oversee employee recognition initiatives such as birthday programs across all departments and shifts
Partner with Operations leadership to ensure engagement efforts are inclusive of day, swing, and overnight teams
Lead employer branding initiatives, employee spotlights, and internal communication campaigns
Support and facilitate employee committees (e.g., Culture, Wellness, Community Outreach)
Develop and distribute bilingual (English/Spanish) communications
Maintain a strong presence on the warehouse floor to build relationships and gather real-time feedback
Coordinate employee surveys, focus groups, and engagement feedback sessions
Track engagement metrics, participation rates, and program effectiveness
Manage event logistics, vendor relationships, budgets, and supplies
Partner with Safety and HR teams to align engagement initiatives with onboarding, safety, and retention efforts
Promote a culture of inclusivity, belonging, and recognition across the workforce
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in Employee Engagement, HR, Internal Communications, Event Planning, or a related field
Experience supporting large hourly workforces (1,000 employees; 3,000 preferred)
Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
Proven experience planning and executing large-scale, multi-shift events
Strong understanding of warehouse, distribution, or high-volume operational environments
Ability to build trust with hourly associates, supervisors, and leadership
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in both English and Spanish
Strong organizational and project management skills
Experience with engagement data, surveys, and reporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with communication platforms and survey tools preferred
Ability to work flexible hours to support multiple shifts and events
