Position Summary
Fashion Nova Logistics is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician III to join our Facilities team. Under the general supervision of the Facilities Supervisor, this role provides technical support in maintaining manufacturing and distribution center equipment, troubleshooting malfunctions, and performing scheduled preventive maintenance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Perform skilled maintenance and repair work on facility equipment and systems, prioritizing and coordinating daily tasks.
Troubleshoot, test, and repair mechanical and electrical components (e.g., switches, receptacles, ballasts, motors, gearboxes).
Maintain and document daily repairs and preventive maintenance using the CMMS system.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and all applicable federal, state, and local codes.
Support continuous improvement through root cause analysis and reliability-centered maintenance.
Adhere to safety practices such as Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Arc Flash protection, and 6S standards.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED required.
3–5 years of relevant experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field.
Electrical certification preferred.
Technical Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge (e.g., lacing belts, replacing gearboxes, motors, and pulleys).
Strong electrical knowledge (480V 3-phase, 120V, 24V DC systems).
Experience with conveyor systems, sorters (Bombay and slat boot), and controls (HMI, PLCs, VFDs).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
CMMS experience required; fabrication and welding skills are a plus.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in a typical distribution center environment with exposure to moderate noise levels.
May occasionally work near moving equipment and be exposed to chemicals, airborne fumes, and varying weather conditions.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, twist, reach, and work with both hands without restrictions.
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods (8–12 hours).
Must be able to ascend and descend stairs without restrictions.
Ability to extend arms to full length and perform physically demanding tasks as needed.
