SALESCLERK
Reports to: Store Manager, Assistant Manager or Supervisor on duty.
Classification: Non-Exempt / Hourly, Part-Time, DAYS
JOB SUMMARY:
To provide the best customer service and maximize sales through efficient execution of Company procedures and to uphold the Gold Standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

JOB SUMMARY:
To provide the best customer service and maximize sales through efficient execution of Company procedures and to uphold the Gold Standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Help customers locate merchandise and informing customer of any product knowledge that may be helpful.
- Verify proper product rotation and basic stocking of merchandise.
- Operate handheld Telxon and maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Remove damaged merchandise from floor as needed.
- Follow company guidelines for department merchandising and setting store ads.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment while following loss prevention and safety procedures.
- Assist customers with special order requests and sales.
- Attend store and job-related meetings along with completion of required in-store trainings.
- Communicate effectively with Customers, Management, and all employees.
- Follow all applicable Company, local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Ensure that your work area is clean and has sufficient supplies to complete assigned duties.
- Operate cash registers and assist with customer carry outs on an as-needed basis.
- Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays (No Exceptions)
- Able to operate pallet jacks and/or tow motors and/or able to learn to do so.
- Weightlifting capability up to and including 50 lbs.
- Consistent attendance for regularly scheduled work shifts is required.
- Other duties and responsibilities may be required to meet the needs of the business.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete special projects as directed by management.
- MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum Age requirement is 16 years old.
- Must possess great customer service and communication skills.
